Eastern Iowa REC provides an Outage Map to keep members informed about power disruptions in real time. The interactive map shows affected areas.

You can also report power outages via text message and receive status updates using the SmartHub portal, or by calling the outage hotline 855-938-3616.

Call or text to report outages

Eastern Iowa REC members can report outages by phone, text or through the SmartHub app.

Call 1-855-938-3616 to report an outage, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Members can report outages via text message and receive status updates the same way using their SmartHub account.

You can set up a SmartHub account by clicking on the SmartHub icon on the homepage or by downloading the app on your mobile device through the Apple App Store (iPhone or iPad) or Google Play Marketplace (Android phone or tablet).
