The Energy Center serves as a resource hub for members to learn about energy efficiency, renewable energy options, and cost-saving strategies. It provides tools, tips, and programs to help members manage energy use, reduce costs, and improve sustainability.

Members can access information on rebates for energy-efficient appliances, and best practices for conserving electricity.

Eastern Iowa REC is committed to providing safe, reliable and affordable offerings to our members to enhance their quality of life. 

The Cooperative does that through the promotion of beneficial electrification. This helps in four ways:

1. Saves money for electricity consumers and providers.
2. Reduces environmental impacts.
3. Creates greater grid flexibility and resiliency.
4. Improves quality of life for member-consumers and their communities. 

Eastern Iowa REC offers rebates for heat pump equipment, outdoor battery-operated equipment, electrical vehicle chargers, and water heaters.

The Cooperative can also assist with plans for renewable energy projects and is actively involved in economic development efforts throughout the Eastern Iowa REC service territory.
