Eastern Iowa REC Youth Programs

Eastern Iowa REC will be awarding 26 $2,500 college scholarships. This is the 40th year for the Cooperative scholarship program. Twenty scholarships are available for students attending 4-year colleges or universities and five scholarships are available for students pursing a trade-related degree at a community college, technical school or power line school. The "Bob Wiemerslage Memorial Scholarship" is awarded to a student planning to major in accounting. Visit the Scholarship page under the Community tab to apply..

Eastern Iowa REC will sponsor a student to participate in the 2026 Youth Tour program which includes an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. June 14-20.
