Annual Meeting

The 2025 Eastern Iowa REC Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport. 

Member registration was on par with last year with 772 memberships registered compared to 774 in 2024. Nearly 1,500 porkchop sandwiches, prepared by Jeff’s Market, were served. 

The results of the Board elections held during the District Meetings were certified at the Annual Meeting. Winners of those elections were: Kurt Olson, Allan Duffe, Henry Bentley, Tom Hotz and Kathrine Wunderlich. Following the meeting, during a reorganizational meeting, the Board of Directors elected the following officers: Ken Purdy, president; Kurt Olson, vice president; Mike Bixler, secretary; Henry Bentley, treasurer; Brad Weiss, assistant secretary.
