Director

Aubrey "Lee" Cartwright is a director representing District 1 and was elected to the Cooperative Board of Directors in 2024. He lives south of Charlotte in Clinton County with his wife, Peggy. The couple share eight children and 14 grandchildren. Cartwright grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Albemarle Community College, earned a PhD from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He has worked at a research pysiologist and laboratory director for the USDA, taught at Texas A&M University and at Ashford University. Cartwright  is a member and officer of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Charlotte, apologist with Reasons to Believe, Voice of the Matyrs. He enjoys both land and woodland husbandry.
