Bill Payment Options

Eastern Iowa REC offers multiple bill payment options. If you have questions about these options or about your bill, contact a Cooperative billing representative or call, toll free, 1-800-728-1242.

E-Bill Payment Option: You can pay your bill online.  Look for the "Click To Pay" icon on the home page of the Cooperative's web site to access this option.

Pay-By-Phone Option: You can call, toll free, 1-866-393-6034 to access the phone payment program. After an initial call to establish account information, banking access and a PIN security code, members will be able to make energy payments with a simple telephone call each month. This alternative provides those without Internet access with the means to make electronic energy payments each month.  Please note: When asked to enter your account number, omit the initial zeros at the beginning of the string.  

Automate Payment:  You can have your electric bill automatically deducted from your checking or savings account.  Request an Automatic Payment  Form

Budget Billing: Spread your electric costs evenly throughout the year by paying a fixed amount each month.  Your budget amount is based on your last 12 month's energy use.  The total is divided into 12 equal amounts.  Your budget payment is adjusted each year to account for changes in your annual energy usage.  Contact a Cooperative billing representative to establish  your budget amount.

E-Bill:  Pay your bill Online and review 13 months of payment history, billing and energy consumption information.

Service Center/Drop Box:  Bill payments are processed at any Cooperative service center (DeWitt, Lone Tree, Wapello, Wilton) during business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (except holidays).  A 24-hour bill drop box is also available at each service center for after-hours bill payments.
